Song of Spring poncho is knit in the round, top down and is completely seamless. It is a fun, rewarding knit that any little girl would love to wear. Put it together with the slouch hat and it is perfect for any little darling.
This poncho comes in 9 sizes from NB to size 10. It was designed with positive ease to allow the poncho to fit loosely. Wear this poncho with jeans or dress it up with a skirt.
This poncho was designed with Red Heart soft worsted weight yarn. However, any worsted weight yarn will work. It is reverse stockinette stitch with cables pattern on the front and the back.
Since this poncho is knit in the round, you will need circular needles.
Gauge: 18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette stitch
Needle size: US 8 – 5.0 mm
Yardage: 150 – 450 yards (137 – 411 m)
