Sometimes we want a simple knit, but we want to add some cables! This is an extension from my Simple Beanie Hat knitting pattern. Except, this time I have added some delicious cables!
The Simple Cable Hat is a simple, yet stunning hat pattern. It is knit in the round from the bottom to the top. This pattern comes with 7 video tutorials for each step of knitting the hat. It includes everything you will need to know to knit this hat. This pattern is also fully written and fully charted. You can choose either one to knit from.
And sometimes we just want a fun, cable project that we don’t have to think too much. This is a quick and easy cable knitting hat pattern that is so fun to wear!
This pattern is fully written and fully charted. It is a seamless knit in which the hat is knit in the round with circular needles.
This pattern comes in 3 different sizes. It also has instructions for both a Beanie had AND a slouch hat. You get to choose!
Sizes: (Circumference x height)
Beanie:
Adult S:18” (45.5 cm) x 8.25” (21 cm)
Adult M:19” (48 cm) x 8.75” (22 cm)
Adult L:20” (51 cm) x 9” (23 cm)
Slouch:
Adult S:18” (45.5 cm) x 10.25” (26 cm)
Adult M:19” (48 cm) x 10.75” (27.5 cm)
Adult L:20” (51 cm) x 11” (28 cm)
This hat was designed with Knit Picks Swish worsted weight yarn. Any similar worsted weight yarn will work.
Amount of yarn:
Beanie / Slouch
Adult S: 140 yrds (126 m) / 160 yrds (145 m)
Adult M: 150 yds (135 m) / 170 yrds (153 m)
Adult L: 160 yrds (145 m) / 180 yrd (162 m)
Gauge: 18 stitches x 26 rows – 4″ (10 cm) x 4″ (10 cm) in stockinette stitch
Needles: 5 mm (8 US) or size required to get gauge.
