Lily’s Comfort Sweater dress was designed after I designed Little Miss Kira’s dress. I received many comments that people would like the dress in an adult size. There are a lot of stitches in comparison to the child’s dress, but the result is definitely worth it!

Amount of yarn required: 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500 yards
This dress was designed with a soft worsted weight yarn. The yarn depicted in the picture is Caron’s simply soft.
Needles: 5 mm [US 8] circular needles [16” – 20”] or size needed to get gauge
5 mm [US 8] circular needles [20 – 24”] (optional)
4 x 5 mm [US 8] dpns
It is recommended to have two sets of circular needles. A smaller set to start the dress and a longer set to use when the stitches start adding up.
Gauge: 18 st = 4”; 24 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch.
This dress is knit in the rounds from the top down. It features a simple lace design on the top and also on the bottom.
