While knitting, there are times when you will need to join yarn on the WS of your knitting project. While, I do not prefer joining yarn on the WS, there will be times when you will need to. Perhaps there will be a knot in the yarn, or the yarn is frayed. Or perhaps, there will be times when you don’t realize you are at the end of your ball of yarn. Don’t panic, as you can easily add a new ball of yarn on the WS.
The method on how to join yarn on the WS is very similar to joining yarn on the RS. I have found the method of knitting two strands of yarn together for 3 stitches produces a strong and durable join that will not come apart. This join is also hard to see when it is done correctly.
