The Cable 4 Back (C4B) is a very common cable stitch in knitting. It is one of the first cable stitches that you may learn how to knit. You will find the Cable 4 Back (C4B) in many cable knitting patterns. Often this cable will be the base of more complicated cable patterns.
Learn to knit the C4B with a cable needle (cn). The instructions for a C4B are as follows:
C4B: Place the first 2 stitches from left needle to a cable needle, hold to back of work. Then knit the next 2 stitches from the left needle, then knit 2 stitches from cable needle.
This will cross your cable to the right. It is also called the 2/2 RC. Of the 2/2 right cross.
