There are times when a knitting project has two more more sections of yarn. You will want to join the two sections of yarn while knitting in a seamless method. For example, you might knit a blanket that has a different border colour. Or, you might knit a cardigan that you want to have a different seamless button band. You want the seam to be durable, strong and seamless. I created a video tutorial to illustrate how to join two sections of yarn while knitting in a simple way.
This is the method that will be used for the Mystery Knit Afghan 2024 in which the bottom section continues up the side of the afghan. If you are knitting with more than one colour, you will need to use this method to join the rectangles together while knitting.
I also have another video illustrating as well. You are welcome to check out this video here:
How to join the border of another colour.
Good luck and happy knitting!
