Who who’s your little owl? 🙂 This adorable knitting pattern set is for a cozy romper and hat. Included in the set is our Little Owl Hat and Little Owl Romper. Knit the hat and watch the little ears pop out! This pattern also looks cute in speckled yarn. Knit in the round, both the hat and the romper are seamless knitting patterns.
Little Owl Hat
This hat comes in 7 sizes:
(circumference x height)
NB – 11 .5” x 5” 29 cm x 12.5 cm
3 mths – 14” x 6” 35.5 cm x 15 cm
6 mths – 15” x 6 ¼ ” 38 cm x 16 cm
12 mths – 16” x 6 ¾” 40.5 cm x 17 cm
2 yrs – 17” x 7” 43 cm x 18 cm
3-5 yrs – 18” x 7½” 45.5 cm x 19 cm
6-12 yrs – 19” x 8” 48.5 cm x 20.5 cm
Needles:
5 mm [US 8] long circular needles
Yarn:
Caron simply soft. However, any soft worsted weight yarn will work.
Little Owl Romper
This little romper comes in 4 different sizes:
Chest circumference (2″ – 3″ positive ease built in)
NB: 18″ (45.5 cm)
3 mths: 19.5″ (49.5 cm)
6 mths: 20.5″ (52 cm)
12 mths: 22″ (56 cm)
Yarn:
Caron simply soft. However, any soft worsted weight yarn will work.
Amount of yarn required: 250 (300, 400, 550) yards
Needles:
5 mm (8 US) circular needles
4 x 5 mm (8 US) dpns
Gauge:
18 stitches x 24 rows = 4″ x 4″ in stockinette stitch
9 markers
5 -6 buttons
